Hopefully this letter finds you all back in the school routine…and remember, watch out for children and buses…they’re everywhere.

Well the rain sure put a damper, no pun intended, on the weekend. Wow, that was a lot of rain…thankfully no flooding for us, hope you were all as lucky.

Sweet corn is still here, don’t forget to get some before it’s done at the end of the month. Peaches are still in, as are apples and pears. Cabbage has made a return for fall and is now in. Butternut and assorted fall squash is in and as delicious as ever.

Peppers are still in and taste great stuffed, stir fried or raw in salads.
