Wow it’s hard to believe I’m on #10 already, how time flies. Sorry I’m behind schedule, but yesterday was my birthday and I was feeling kind of lazy, with the rain and gloomy weekend…but now it’s back to reality…which unfortunately means back to work.

Yes, I know it’s almost October, but yes we do still have corn!! I know how exciting. Maybe if we hold onto summer really tight, winter won’t come…now we all know that is only a dream.

Fall Fest is almost upon us. Raffle tickets to benefit the Susan G. Komen for a cure, are now available. An autographed guitar, signed by Martina McBride is the grand prize…what a great prize! Other prizes include; restaurant gift certificates, beauty packages, Nancy’s Heavenly Treats’ gift package, Spring City Coffee gift basket…and more! T-shirts are also on sale now in the store with proceeds going to the Komen for a cure.

Spring City Coffee has brought back a flavor from last year, Pumpkin Spice…an all time favorite…so perfect for these cool fall mornings. Be sure to get yours…orders can be placed if you would like to freeze some so you have it all winter long.

Have you told your neighbors and friends about Fall Fest? No, well get on the phone and call them…what are you waiting for. This is a “not to be missed event” with more to do than you can pack into an hour…pony rides, mazes, hayrides, pumpkin picking, hot dogs and soda, popcorn, moon bounce, inflatable slide, scarecrow making, pumpkin picking and painting and more…October 11^th…DO NOT MISS OUT!!! This event happens once a year, and will have you and your family returning every year after…it’s a great time!!

Pumpkins have invaded the Farmers Daughter, with so many different shapes, sizes and colors. Have you ever seen a blue or white pumpkin? Well stop by and check them out, cause we have them. This year’s crop is plentiful and that means prices are the best ever! We are doing all you can carry this year for the great price of $13.99!! Stop out and get all the details…but be sure to bring the camera…it’s a great photo op as dad gets loaded down with pumpkins by the kids and then tries to juggle them all across the finish line…you’ll be laughing so hard your side will hurt. There’s nothing like fall at the Farmers Daughter…great times to be had by one and all!
