Good evening…and I really hope you were all able to get outside on this magnificent weekend and enjoy the beautiful weather. I can’t imagine having a better pair of days if they were special ordered. Our fall certainly has been wonderful. We entertained 3 birthday parties this weekend, and they had a great time!

Pumpkin picking was in full force this weekend, and unfortunately will soon be coming to an end. But have no fear, as there are still many orange beauties to choose from in the patch. Hayrides to the corn maze ran all weekend long with young and young at heart enjoying the great weather for the outdoor fun.

It’s an apple avalanche at the Farmer’s Daughter!! So many apple varieties for all the apple cakes, apple pies, apple sauce or just diced apples for your oatmeal or salads…you are sure to find the perfect one for all your apple needs. Broccoli, cauliflower and cabbage are also available for your salads or steamed for gracing your dinner table nightly. Stop in today to get the fresh stuff before it’s done.

We are nearing the end of our raffle for the Susan G. Komen breast cancer research foundation. The guitar, autographed by Martina McBride will be awarded at the end of October. We are still selling raffle tickets daily and you still have a chance to get in on the fun! I will be letting you all know the totals raised at the end of October. We have already exceeded  what I had hoped to raise…and am sure the foundation will be very grateful for all of your generous donations.

This week all indoor fall merchandise will be 25% off. This does not include slates, flags, mailwraps and yard designs. Stop in to get some nice fall decorations before the holiday is upon us.

Mark your calendars  for November 8^th. This will be our holiday open house to debut our Christmas selection for this year! We will be closed on Thursday the 6^th and Friday the 7th to prepare. Once we reopen on the 8^th, we will be open thru December 30^th, with the exclusion of Thanksgiving and Christmas.
