I hope you all had the opportunity to experience Fall Fest this past weekend. Wow, what a great time…the weather was perfect, the place was packed beyond capacity and everyone seemed to be having a great time. Hayrides ran all day and the mazes saw lots of activity. We truly hope that if you attended the event, you and your family had a wonderful time!

The above winner’s names will be placed back into the drawing for the autographed guitar, signed by Martina McBride and will be awarded at the end of October. So far, our raffle has raised over $1300.00 towards the fight in finding a cure for breast cancer. We thank everyone who has entered the raffle, bought items during our fundraiser or simply gave a cash donation…breast cancer has touched everyone in some way…and together we may help find a cure!

It’s still apple season at the Farmer’s Daughter! With over 10 varieties of local grown apples, now is the time for sauce, baking and all things apples. Homegrown broccoli, cabbage and cauliflower is in and oh so good for you. Get your favorite Halloween candy before it’s gone and replaced with all things Christmas…

We will be closed on Thursday and Friday November 6^th and 7^th to prepare for the wonderful winter holidays and reopen with our Christmas Open House on Saturday November 8^th @ 10 am. Be sure to stop in early for the best selection of seasonal and winter decorations for your home. Christmas trees will begin arriving on November 28^th! Get the best pick of our tree selection …

As our 7^th season on the hill  begins to wind down, we are grateful for loyal customers who return year after year. Without you we would not be here and we are very appreciative of that. We will be open until December 30^th this year and then will reopen in March. Watch for the weekly newsletter to keep you informed as to the happenings at the Farmers Daughter.
