Well, I’m not sure about all of you, but we are good and tired of the rain and cloudy weather. It sure has made it difficult to get any work in the fields done this week. We managed to get some sweet corn and Indian corn in, along with some tomatoes, peppers and eggplants. Everything really needs some sunshine, as we are having a tough time keeping the blight and bugs from taking over the crops.

Hanging baskets are now only $19.99…get them before they are gone. Also vegetable plants and annual flowers are “BUY 1 GET 1 FREE”…LAST CHANCE…

Rhubarb has seen its last of the season…and unfortunately, with all this rain, the strawberry crop will be coming to an end quicker than we would like to see…so get some before they’re done.

Spinach and asparagus are still going strong, along with snow, snap and hull peas. Spring onions and the first of the walla-walla onions are here. We have begun with some red beets and the first string beans of the season…wonderful yellow and green zucchini and yellow squash are beginning to emerge from the fields, along with Kirby and regular cucumbers. And if you’re looking to make stuffed cabbage, well you are in luck…we are cutting the most beautiful cabbage heads, both regular and Savoy, so stop in and satisfy your hunger for all things fresh…so remember…
