Our 1st eNewsletter - July 23, 2008

Greetings, first let me start by thanking you all for patiently waiting for this first letter…tis the busy season.

What can I say “the corn is on the wagon”! That’s right our own homegrown, delicious sweet corn, picked fresh daily, is ready to grace your dinner table nightly. Stop in today and take home a dozen…or two, and share with your neighbor!

New at the “Farmer’s Daughter” this week is local peaches (both yellow and white flesh)! Weaver’s Orchard in Morgantown is our supplier, and if you’ve had these peaches in the past, you know how wonderfully sweet they are. Next week we are hoping for nectarines to be in too! Also right now we have candy sweet plums in, which everyone should try at least once.  Our own homegrown cantaloupes and honey melons are now in season. A sweet treat that can’t be beat!!

With all of us trying to save money to fill our tanks these days, feel free to call the store @ 610-495-4555 or e-mail me personally @ farmersdaughterfarmmarket@verizon.net  to inquire about a specific item before making the trip. I will do my best to respond within a few hours.

During July 28^th to the 1^st of August, bring in a copy of this e-mail or for cell and blackberry recipients, show us this e-mail on your phone and receive 5% off your total order. This applies to Monday thru Friday only .
