Words can’t describe how grateful we were for the rain last evening. The farmer had fertilized all the vegetables, pumpkins and sweet corn, and we were extremely anxious for the storms. Thankfully they came, bringing with them 1 ½ inches of much needed moisture.

Sweet corn is the pick of the day, week and possibly month!! We can’t pick it quick enough, although we put forth our best effort…cabbage, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, hot peppers, potatoes, red beets, string beans, zucchini, cucumbers and summer squash are all fresh picked and waiting for you!! The first of the homegrown cantaloupes were picked this weekend and sure were delicious…local peaches, white peaches, red raspberries and candy sweet plums are here…and they are wonderful as ever. Get your candy sweet plums now, cause they won’t last long, and they are something you don’t want to miss out on.

The best, fresh vegetables are awaiting you on your next visit, so spread the word on where to get the BEST sweet corn around…and remember…
