Wow, hard to believe it’s back to school time. Seems like it was just the start of summer and now as Labor Day approaches, this summer is just another memory. Hope you and your family made lots of wonderful memories this year!

Sweet corn is still plentiful and ready for your dinner table nightly…top that with some fresh string beans and sliced tomatoes, with cantaloupe or watermelon for dessert and you have summer on a plate…yummy!

Local plums are coming to an end…sad as it is…what a sweet run they had!! Peaches and nectarines are still available and this week Gala apples join our local varieties!

Fall has arrived…at least at the Farmer’s Daughter…fall decorations and candy are here…stop in and get the best pick of new decorations for your home.
